Join us as we celebrate Black Breastfeeding Week with a virtual Lunch and Learn opportunity! We are so excited to learn from Jabina G. Coleman, LSW, MSW, CLC, IBCLC on her work exploring: Everyone Wants to Hold the Baby, Who Will Hold the Mother?®

Objectives:

  • Provide education on the universal needs of all mothers and birthing people.

  • Understand why maternal mental health is a public health imperative.

  • Recognize the continuum of perinatal mood disorders and how they affect the birthing family.

Participants will be able to:

  • Engage in meaningful dialogue around perinatal mental health.

  • Reflect on how to hold space for and support new birthing parents in your organization/community.

  • Identify ways their organization will be able to support the social-emotional health of new parents and the growth and development of their infants and children.
